New Pastor Named for St. Mark's
Bishop Bruce Ough announces the appointment of Rev. Tammy Jo Reiser as the next pastor of St. Mark's United Methodist Church. She is coming from the Waynesville United Methodist Church in Waynesville, Ohio. Her first Sunday will be July 3, 2011.
Tammy Jo has a BA in Liberal Studies/Organizational Leadership from Wilmington College, a Masters of Divinity from United Theological Seminary...
Wings of the Morning
Recently, the youth of St. Mark's served the church by painting four bathrooms while they were raising money and increasing awareness for Wings of the Morning, an aviation ministry supported by the United Methodist Church. Founded in 1960, the ministry is often the one hope the sick, wounded and dying in remote areas of the country have for reaching lifesaving medical treatment.
We are joining churches around the West Ohio Conference in raising money to purchase a Cessna Caravan for the ministry.
